Default 2013 GS 350 F-Sport Tire Recommendation

Need a recommendation on replacement tires for the subject rear wheel drive Lexus. Will have about 20K on the original tires when replaced. The Bridgestone has been a good tire. However, looking for other options.

Wait, the only thing which shows up on tire rack for the f sport rwd is a michelin super sport. Is that really the only tire available?

I would recommend 245/40R19 Michelin Primacy MXM4 or Michelin Pilot Sport AS3 for this car. There are many tires that don't work well with the f-sport and will give choppy ride on the highways. The mIchelins are sublime and have great handling feel with great ride feel.

If you have staggered, then go for 245/40R19 front and 265/35R19 rear and you can get the Michelin Pilot Sport AS3 and you will be all set!

Michelin pilot super sport, best tire available IMO ... Smooth ride, quiet, excellent wet/dry traction. As soon as my dunlops wear out I'm buying the super sports, had them on my last car, no comparison.

I have a related question. I have factory Dunlops right now and hate them. My lease is for 36 mos and I'm thinking I'll probably need new tires by then. I was thinking of switching tires now then putting the Dunlops back before lease end. Any idea how long these Pilot Sports last?

I have the dunlops as well and don't like them. I had pilot super sports on my last GS and they lasted me well over a year, and I'd say about 25-30k miles (this was on a lowered '01 GS430).

Haha, if you hate the Dunlops, be thankful you didn't get the Bridgestones. The Potenzas are hard, loud, whiney, and have bad grip on any surface at any temperature. All they're good at is holding air.

Primacy MXM4 and Pilot Sport A/S are the 2 all season tires I recommended earlier.

Lol I had Bridgestone Potenza RE050 on my old GS before the Michelin's and can vouch that they were louder than any tire I've ever tried. But I can't say the traction was bad, they gripped pretty well in wet/dry weather here in Miami. BUT, the Pilot Super Sports are superior in every way to the Potenzas.

I'm looking to change my cheapo tires that Lexus threw on my CPO car (Accelera...WTH are those?) and really considering the Hankook S1 Noble. I had Hankook Ventus V12 EVO K110 on my Saab before and LOVED them. Super quiet and very sticky in the dry. But only lasted about 22K miles. How long do the S1 Nobles last?

Is the general consensus here that replacing stock tires on an AWD F Sport will soften (in a good way) and quite the car?

I found a wheel / tire combo for sale from a 2006 LS430 - 245-45-18 with about 10k on them. Plus they would be good winter wheels with appropriate tires I am thinking...

Would you do that or go the Michelin route?
