Default Front headrest adjustment on Luxury Package

'14 GS w/Luxury. I know I have the 18 way adjustable seats. should this also have the 3 position horizontal headrest adjustment as listed in the owners manual? My front headrests only is adjustable vertically and the wings.

I understand it says it in the book, but I am saying in my car, there is no Horizontal Adjustment for the headrest, it is fixed. So my questions are, Does the luxury package replace this adjustment with the upper seat back adjustment in place of the headrest horizontal adjustment? Does anyone who has the luxury package have the horizontal adjustment?

headrest is a headrest it doesn't matter on trim levels. they all come out when you pull it out. they are all manually driven. either you got jipped or you are not pulling/pushing hard enough.

Do you have the luxury package? Different trim lines may offer different features. Only luxury package seats have 18-way adjustments. Pushing and pulling does not result in anything on my vehicle, neither driver or passenger side. . I'd like to hear from luxury package owners, so I can go armed with that information to the dealer when returning for my 5000K service.

Dougm213, I do not have luxury package but I remember on my LS460 when you adjust the seat tilt forward or backward, it changes the headrest height automatically. I now have a GS350 F sport so the headrest is adjusted manually just like mentioned in the previous post. Hope that helps, let us know how that goes.

Thank you. I guess I have been jipped as JucyTch put it. No matter how hard I pushed or pull, there is not movement. I will bring up to the dealer when I take it in for the 5K service.

Can you take a pic of your headrest for me to see?

I also could not get my headrests to move horizontal. After reading this thread and another, I tried again. We'll guess what....it worked!!! I pushed on the top of the headrest toward the front and it moved. It goes forward 3 clicks then will release to the back. Try this and good luck. I have the 10 way seats.

They definitely move...you just have to put more shove into it.
