I agree with lierbag in that if the work is done by a true professional master, it will be right and nobody will ever be able to tell it was hit. I have seen much worse be perfectly returned to pristine condition. I will say that people capable.of that quality of work are a rarity.

Ouch. I hope, the shop is able to repair decently.

If you have Enform/Safety Connect activated, did it activate after you were hit?

No it didn't activate after the impact. From my understanding the Safety Connect service would kick in automatically after a severe rear-end or front-end collision where airbags would deploy.

Latest update: Body shop informed me this morning that the repair bill is going to be around $15K (well above the $6K figure Geico had figured in their estimate.. so lowball ). So the official word is that the car will not be totaled, and so the GS is under repair for 3-4 weeks, and of course all OEM parts are being used for the repairs. Can hardly wait to get the car back out on the road..

Lowball city, if you have Mark L system that corner is where the power amp is.

Wow... definitely a huge repair bill. But hey, the insurance got you covered.

Hopefully the body shop does a great work. I read several repair issues in this forum.

Don't forget to post some after repair pics
