Default Spare Tire Question

I have a '14 GS AWD w/Lux. Has anyone tried replacing the spare tire with a full-size?

Don't really know, did not look in detail, I am assuming it comes with a donut spare.

It wouldn't fit in the tire well. It's a donut.

Certainly no room for a full size replacement. It could be worse. I believe those who are still getting run flats get no spare at all. That was the case with my '10 GS.

Perhaps in Russia, but not in the US.

Can you take a picture of it and send it to us? It wouldn't fit in the trunk well...

So, will a 18 inch wheel fit in the US model? Anyone try yet?

AWD 3GS with run-flats had donut spare in the trunk as well. Didn't make much sense, but we had them.

Rather have a donut than a repair kit even with run flats.

Will look into a spare rimand replace the donut when I replace my crappy Dunlops with some Michelins when the Dunlops wear down, which I may help along.

For what we found in our US Spec IS's was no..
As the spare tire well was designed shallow for the space saver donut.
