Trunk not working on 2013 GS 350

Trunk not working on 2013 GS 350
My trunk is not opening with the key pad or with the button inside the car. It's not even making a noise when I push either button. Does anyone has any idea what could be wrong?

Funny coincidence, I ran into the same silly problem. My friend poked around in the gloves compartment and accidentally switched that vallet lock. Later that night, I went bonkers trying to figure out why the trunk would not open 
Plus I actually needed to fetch my stuff from it :-)
SO I ended up opening the pass through and employ a flashlight and a long broom stick to pull on the yellow emergency lock release thingy. ! it was fun though.
Btw, JDW379, you could have opened the truck using your mechanical key from outside the trunk..
Only after I consulted the manual, I learned about these things.
So, manual is our Bible! :-)
