Anyone here with a 4GS 350 RWD WITHOUT FSPORT package, replaced there stock disc brakes front and rear with slotted or drilled disc brakes and ceramic pads? I am having a hard time finding a matched pair for front and rear. I tried ebay, amazon, autozone and many others and got nothing. It seems as though many manufactuers dont like to make aftermarket for our cars.

I can find drilled/slotted disc brakes for the front online but cannot find a match for the rears. Anyone have dont this please let me know where you bought it and what brand and part number. Thanks!

Nah, not a tough crowd. There's just not a WHOLE lotta folks on the forum at the same time. Do a search. I'm recalling that there were some 4GS owners on here that have done BBK + Slotted. I also remember some debate about whether it was worth the upgrade. In the end, I figured not worth the hassle, but they sure do look nice.

I've read several times that they're really just an aesthetic thing on cars of this nature, and can actually reduce braking performance.

What's your goal with the brake changes?

My research indicates the following:
* All GS350 have the same rear brakes.
* F-sport has larger front brakes with different rotors & pads.

I poked around on Autoanything and they have Stoptech slotted rotors for the front of the base model + rear. What makes me a bit skeptical is they claim the front pads fit on all GS 350 models. Do they really use the same pads (sizing)? What's the difference with the F-sport front pads?

I am not doing it for performance. All four of my disc brakes show rust especially visable when i have my RCF wheels installed. I had a stranger complement how nice my wheels looks but also asked me why my brakes are badly rusted. So i figured aftermarkey slotted and drilled brakes will prevent rust. Oem brakes are a rust magnet.

I'm in the same boat as well. Not a big fan of how rusty the OEM rotors are especially now that you can see them with the aftermarket wheels. Thinking I'll have my next rotors powder coated to prevent the rust from taking over.

Rust is normal. If you're concerned about that, pull the factory rotors and have them painted or powdercoated.

Or upgrade to the F Sport front brakes that have fully floating rotors that never look rusty. However this also means upgrading the wheels too because it takes 19's to clear them.

I thought he was talking about parts other than the rotor surface that you can see, showing rust. I've seen some rotors where the rotor hub will rust also but F Sports are painted black.

Every single high carbon steel rotor on this planet will rust, it's just science. Drilled, slotted, solid, doesn't matter. Only one type of rotor will not rust: carbon ceramic, but they are astronomically expensive.
