Default Heads up display

Not sure if any of you have it, but I do and it's AMAZING!

Question about it..there are buttons to move the image up and down on my windshield slightly, but I'm wondering because the way I drive can I get Lexus to move it slightly to the right for me in order to see the whole image properly ( the way I sit and steer is leaning with my left arm on the wheel and the right arm on the center console so I can only see half of the mph on my windshield because I'm not sitting properly lol!)

Yes, I have the same thing and they can fix the problem for you. I think you just need to make an appointment and when you arrive they will ask you to stay in your vehicle while they prop a few pillows between you and the door to make you vertical again. Or you could always drink a V8

in all seriousness though, no it's only up and down. Took me a little getting used to, but I do love it. Just wish my sunglasses weren't polarized, because it mutes the HUD significantly. 1st world problems

The '14 has a color display for the head-up display.
Still a great feature.

Yeah I'm 6' 7" and the way I sit, the right inch of the HUD gets cut off if I'm not sitting straight. I didn't think this car would give me posture lessons.

Haha,

I confirmed any car with heads up display you cannot adjust left to right..which makes no sense to me! All it is doing is illuminating a display from the interior onto the windshield...there isn't anything on the windshield that makes it stay on one square of the windshield..

I wonder if I can rig it with like a mirror or something LOL!

The windshield actually has a coating over a certain area where the projection is able to be seen. Beyond it the HUD cannot be displayed or seen.

Really? I couldn't even tell you what the speedo looks like. I honestly can't remember the last time I used it to check my speed.

Seriously. Every time I get into a different car I'm like wait, why isn't the HUD on? then I remember no one else has it lol.

Sometimes I forget it's there but it's great to have when you call in for directions. You never have to look over at the nav screen for turns when a destination has been programmed. It comes up in the HUD.

Same here. It is great for using as a digital speedometer. I don't know what I would do without it.
