OLD thread, but wanted to thank you. We just got an NX and I wanted to change the pedals to the f-sport aluminum ones. Not sure why lexus/Toyota didn't use them on all model when you are paying $50k for a vehicle but ...oh well... Upon more research it appears they did the same thing to the NX. The dead pedal is part of the carpet. Only way to swap it would be to change to F-sport trim carpet $600, or cut out dead pedal and put on new one without it looking like ***... which probably isn't going to happen. So in our case with the NX, I can only change out the brake pedal pad ($55), and must change the entire accelerator assembly at $160...lol.

I just got the f sport pedals and installed the brake which was a little work but how do you remove the clip-in gas pedal on the RWD? I posted in a thread about the same thing and nobody has answered yet so hoping someone here will know who has done it. I tugged and pulled on it and it didn't seem to give at all. Do you have to slide a tool in front the front of the clips to get them to release?

You remove the little cover on the base that covers the bolts. Unbolt them, and then the pedal
slides off the throttle at the top and that’s it.

There are no clips, there are two bolts that need to be unbolted.

There are no bolts. That's what I thought but the new pedal has no place for bolts. It has clips that go down below the carpet. According to others only the AWD has bolts while the RWD has clips that's why I'm looking for someone who has replaced the clip pedal in a RWD.

Are you certain? Because the pedals on my RWD LS are from a RWD GS F Sport and there are certainly bolts.

If yours looks like this https://www.ebay.com/itm/Lexus-GS250-GS350-GS450h-F-Sport-Aluminum-Pedal-Set-NEW-Genuine-OEM-2014-2015-6/181597895831?fits=Model%3AGS350%7CSubmodel%3AF+Sport&hash=item2a4813fc97:g:FjgAAOSwGtRX07Cv:rk:1f:0 then mine doesn't look like that at all.

Mine is this https://www.ebay.com/itm/Lexus-GS250-GS350-GS450h-F-Sport-Aluminum-Pedal-Set-NEW-Genuine-OEM-2006-2013-9/171251736997?fits=Model%3AGS350%7CSubmodel%3AF+Sport&epid=22013357962&hash=item27df6621a5:g:JjYAAOSwfpVZMQ-C:rk:3f:0

And if you drop down those pages and put in 2013 GS350 the one with the bolts is not compatible and the one wihtout is. And I had my face down there trying to pull my existing one out and mine definately is the latter.

If you look at the years, that pedal is for the 3GS not the 4GS. Those drop down menus are quite often wrong. The pedals for 2013-2018 are all the exact same.

That might be. I don't know, but the second one I posted is identical mount to the one in my base 2013 GS350 RWD and it does not have bolts.

I added Fsport pedals to my 2013 non Fsport. The gas pedal has 2 plastic bolts. I literally had to pull it up with force to get it off.

A note about the F sport pedals. When it's 40+ outside they'll burn their pattern into your right foot! I keep a pair of thongs in the car for use on hot days until the car cool down

This post took soooo much time to understand. Eventually figured out that 40+ meant 40 celsius, and thongs meant flip fllops... dude, I can't tell you the kind of imagery that went through my head...
