Not sure if ur joking
Umm definitely get the M5 with Competition Pack!
For the ppl saying to wait makes no sense.
He is not buying it since he owns a leasing company. By the time the GS F comes out ur M5 lease will be done.

The 2014 M5 is a fat overweight pig and not deserving of the M badge when it's just a SWB version of a 7 series. And it weighs as much as a 7 series. How much fun is there dancing around corners? All the power in the world can't help you when 1) you need to lose at least 500pounds and 2) your traction isn't enough to manage your torque.
You'd be better off with an RS7 or a E63 with AWD OR better yet, waiting for the Lexus RC-F/GS-F

if you're not happy with the car and can wiggle out of your lease early, then go for it. doesn't the boss over at wash express own an alpine white M5? i would stick with Lexus though, like SNiiP3R stated, GS-F RC-F is on the way. IMO i think they will be an oddity on the streets.

Im only planning on keeping the m5 for maximum a year, I have someone who wants to take that lease over already.

If it doesn't hurt and you aren't stuck in it for the long haul why not just get the M5. If you were to say buy it, it would be a different story. Nothing wrong with having yourself seated in a different car every once and awhile.
