Your picture scare me. I have a blemish that would require the wholeback bumper to repainted. I'm thinking I might just live with it.

Update: So I spoke to the manager today and he told me that one side was lighter and the other side was darker. I told him you should be glad I'm not there. This is such bad work, is it because I went on vacation and wouldn't see the car or they just didn't care. Ugh I'm so aggravated this should not be the case with an 8 month old car.

"Oh, well sir those pictures are just of the dark side, the other side is lighter. So...you know...just look at that side..."

Lol that's why I felt like posting this although he was actually looking at the car in the sun that was his answer and I'm glad I wasn't there cause I'm sure I would have lost it. Hopefully it will be finished on Sat when I get back , as I will post some pics.

Please keep us posted... The manager is def a ****head. Are they redoing the bumper? What pisses me off is the nonchalant answer he gave you, put on some gloves with small sharp spikes sticking out of them and slap the **** out of that dude when you see him.

You better be careful they don't start blending into the trunk and 1/4 panels...

Yeah really...that should not be necessary, at least not until every other option is exhausted. I can't believe they even colorcoated the whole bumper as it is...

Well I'm hoping they won't but if it comes to that I'm probably going to trade it in and get another GS F-Sport wont be the smartest choice but it being my first car and being only 8 month old I would.

Ok here is the last update hopefully. I will be picking up the car but he wanted to email me the pic to see if I approve the way it looks before they put the bumper applique back on. I saw it and said that looks better and looks right. I will visually inspect it tomorrow and provide better pics.

Looks much better, but you gotta see it in person and you gotta see it in a few different lighting situations...

The paint match looks quite a bit better but I noticed the "front" of the bumper where it meets the quarter panel at the "crease" over the wheel well. It looks like the bumper may not be aligned with the quarter panel perfectly. Hope it's just the way the light is playing in the photo.

Definitely this - I got mine back this morning, and while overall the shop did a great job, there are a couple of issues that they are going to address - The trunk lid is slightly off (hinge adjustment needed), and on the left side of the new bumper, there is slight "hologramming" where it looks like the proper pressure was not applied when they were doing the final buffing out. (i'm going to give them one more crack at it, since it is new paint, but if they do not correct it, I will break out my PC polisher and do it myself).

You definitely need to take your time when inspecting the car - Do not accept less than perfection!
