Default Painting wheels?

What kind of paint is recommended to paint wheels? What type doesn't fade or come off when you wash them?

Has anyone used plasti-dip paint on wheels?

plasti-dip is not strong enough. It's good for chrome pieces, emblems..ect but I would not use that on wheels. Powder coating is what you need, but that is something you cannot do in your garage.

If you want to do it the right way, you have to get it professinaly powered coated. I did that to my bmw x6 20inch stock wheels.

I certainly would not paint the wheels on a $60,000 Lexus with spray paint in my garage. Bear in mind each of those wheels is $400+

They certainly can be painted, but I would have a professional shop powder coat them and do it properly. Lots of people around CL have had this done.
