I personally don't think the black roof looks good on the 4GS. In order for it to look right there needs to be a continuous line from the windshield, back through the roof, to the rear glass. On the 4GS the line doesn't line up, the glass is wider than the edges of the roof panel which makes it look awkward IMHO.

Not sure how a darker silver would look with a black roof but I can post a pic of my old silver car to get you better perspective.

Are you over 30 or under?!! 
The glossy black vinyl wraps look pretty sweet on the roof, although I think it looks better if you have more black accents on the car elsewhere such as your wheels, grill, emblems, rear valance, or spoiler, etc. to match with the roof... but then again, you can quickly over do it if you go too wild with black everywhere! Probably just go with the roof and wheels would be all you need to set off that Nebula Gray imo..
I think the black accents gives the car more of an aggressive appearance, as opposed to the factory elegance. The styling of the body lends itself well to either of these looks too, its up to your personal preference really.
Get some pics up here if you do it, then we'll chime in on the end result too!

hmm I have the same question, I have a gray nebular pearl, and want to get this on my car.
I know in look good on silver, white. but I'm not sure if it will look good on nebular....
any guy with nebular gray have this on their car???
