I was in a similar boat OP. I had 4,800 at the 1 year mark. The dealership was confused when I brought it in for an entire laundry list of things to do. They're like, "you only have 5,000 miles on it...." Yeah, but it's been a full year...

They did the 10K mile service. Time will only tell when it comes time for the 10K mile service, if that will be free, or if they will charge me for it. I'll let you know in 8 months.

I'm having zero problems, and never rotate tires. Since they don't change the oil, I'm starting to think it's a waste of time...anybody agree?
I'm at 6 months with just under 3K miles and won't get the rotation.
I will bring it in shortly for the inside trunk release recall and the free tank of gas. Also will have Lexus service change the 3 blink to 5 blinks quick turn signal.

I just picked up my car today after a one-year check with only 5000 miles on my car. I was told I didn't "need" an oil change at only 5000 miles and could wait until 10,000 miles, but I elected to get one anyhow since a year had passed. They checked the car over from stem to stern, changed some filters and gaskets, rotated the tires, and performed the trunk latch recall. They also did the trunk strut replacement for hard-closing trunks at my request. Driving home, I noticed the tank was full of gas and I couldn't figure out why because it was down a quarter or so when I took it in. Now I know why. I've had nothing but great service from Sewell Lexus of Dallas. I would highly recommend them.

I would have changed the oil too.

Wow so many low miles here... A little more than 6 months here and I'm close to 10K. I think I give her too much love.

PS: I was surprised that my tank was filled after 10K service. Not sure because they did the recall on trunk release lever because I don't think it was filled after 5K service. I didn't ask to do any of TSBs. After awhile my trunk closes just fine.

Lexus gives you a free fill-up whenever you bring it in for a recall.
I had 3 or 4 recalls on the 06 GS, and each time got a full tank. In fact, when I was making the service appointment for the first recall, the lady told me about it, and I planned accordingly...brought it in with the "low fuel" light on ever since. :-)

Same here. Work from home, but I haven't counted the steps upstairs yet. It's a great thing, isn't it? I've had my GS for 15 months and only have 8,500 miles on it. I'm waiting for 10,000 miles to do the oil change.

I love Sewell Lexus of Dallas. I bought my GS from them and have it serviced there. We bought our G37 from Sewell Infiniti, and they are equally accommodating. I actually negotiate my deal with my salesperson at Sewell Infiniti via e-mail before I even see her, then we finalize the paperwork when I get to her office. I have purchased 5 cars from her. We've been in a "dry spell" because Infiniti hasn't introduced anything that interests me in the past few years. We will probably hold onto our G37 until the Q60 Convertible is introduced.
