You can't just compare lease payments! Maybe he didn't put anything down, maybe he is 15k miles per year and maybe you guys have different residual amounts. There are a lot of factors.

12k miles is the most you can go, which is what I have O_O

I doubt he didn't put anything down either, lexus doesn't really work that way. My dad has a LX, Mom has a LS, and I have a GS. No down payment wasn't really an option :/

You dont have to put any money down if you dont want to, your monthly payment just goes up accordingly (about $30 per $1000). I leased many cars and I just signed on the dotted lines, you can also roll the negative equity into your new lease.

Yes they do, They had zero down all last month it was the performance deal in March. Anyway who cares what he put down, if you dont want his lease then why even comment, this isnt a battle of whos pays less for their F Sport

LOL, no. Lexus has 10k, 12k, 15k & 18k leases. They can do more with mileage bought into the lease upfront.

You absolutely can put nothing down, mine is nothing down, as was my previous Lexus lease, and the one before that. The only reason they may require a down payment if for a riskier type lease, poor credit or a lot of negative equity built into it.

Yeah I put $0 down and rolled negative equity into my lease. I also bought this car right when it came out, and I know the lease deals they have had in recent months is way better than what they were offering when I bought mine.

Lexus does not do any more miles then 15k without it costing a fortune..
It cost like 20 cents if you do it before and 25 after and up to 15k it is a diff residual.
The programs also vary from region to region.. The leases on rwd f-sport was just as cheap in Cali as a awd premium in nj region.. I just leased a premium 27 months 15k miles for $599 but I drove the car off the lot and did not give them a penny not even 1st month , I just make 26 more payments of $599.. This was the best I can get, I am in the business so I did my research.. If I went 18k miles 3k more it was $650 .. Not worth it to save 5 cents.. I will take my chances..

I have been selling cars for 8 years now so I know a few people in the biz and the gs350 lease is very aggressive , well was not sure if it still is. Some people have false info, you can put 0 down and when I say zero I do not mean taxes and fees.. You can roll all the taxes and fees even 1st month into the lease, most dealers do not tell people this because they like to get at least the fees down (1st month, mv, bank and doc) and then taxes.. Fees are about $2k and taxes about $1k so $3k is about taxes and fees depending where you live... Lexus does do up to 15k miles buy diff residuals for example 15k is 68% 12k is 69% and 10k is 70% and after 15k it is 20 cents a mile if you buy it up front.. I just wAnted to clear that up because there is a lot of mis info on leasing in this thread..

also you have to make sure lexus Toyota financial allows transfer of leases from one person to another.. I know Nissan infiniti and ford does not so you can give the lease to someone else but it stays on your credit .. I believe some banks do allow transfer of leases and some do not allow.. I do not know the answer to this question but I an curious to know if lexus does transfer leases from one name to another..

I don't think you can lease a new car!
