Inner tie rod

I'm not sure why you'd have to replace the steering column for lack of a tie rod; maybe the rack but not necessarily to steering column. Nevertheless, try Sewell Parts at http://lexus.sewellparts.com/oem-cat...S350-2013.html. That may help a little bit.

As far as I know, that's the whole rack assy. Perhaps there is more to it than this but I'm not seeing it. Perhaps one of the serious tech guys can jump in and point out the inner tie rod end.

Roz, I was bothered by not having a resolution to your problem so I did a little more research. What I've found is that the rack, tie rods, etc. appear to be exactly the same as the system on the 2011 GS. The part numbers for the rack, tie rods, etc. are the same for both models. Checked the Beck Arnley catalog and while they also do not list an inner tie rod (as you said), the remainder of the part numbers are interchangeable. Indeed, the Sewell website provides the same part numbers too with the exception of the missing inner tie rod part number. I would buy the inner tie rod for the 2011 and closely compare the two. I think you'll find they're the same part.

I was gonna say 2011 should work, I was looking into it and all the 2007-2011 IS and the GS is the same , and one thing abt Lexus is if they have no issues with a part they don't change it, they use for so many years.let us know good luck.

I realize this is an old thread, but I'm having the same problem with the inner tie rod. I just bought a 2013 GS350 (AWD non F-Sport) and my inner tie rod was bent from a previous accident. The Lexus dealer was able to get it aligned close, but it's still off. To fix the problem, they said I need to replace the whole steering rack! Technician did not recommend driving it too long because of how bent the tie rod is. Does anyone know if any other inner tie rod would be compatible to use (other vehicle or aftermarket part)? Thanks
