Default Blindspot monitor question

Can anyone verify at which speed does it activate? Mine activates at around 30mph, on my sisters 2013 RX hers is active as soon as she starts to drive, 5-10mph. Same on the 2013 Toyota Sienna that my mom has.

I am pretty certain the owner's manual lists 25mph.

From the manual, page 289:

■The Blind Spot Monitor system is operational when
The BSM main switch is set to on and vehicle speed is greater than approximately
25 mph (40 km/h).
■The Blind Spot Monitor will detect a vehicle when
●A vehicle in an adjacent lane overtakes your vehicle.
●Another vehicle enters the detection area when it changes lanes.
■Conditions under which the Blind Spot Monitor will not detect a vehicle
The Blind Spot Monitor system is not designed to detect the following types of vehicles and/or objects:
●Small motorcycles, bicycles, pedestrians etc.*
●Vehicles traveling in the opposite direction
●Guardrails, walls, signs, parked vehicles and similar stationary objects*
●Following vehicles that are in the same lane*
●Vehicles driving 2 lanes across from your vehicle*
*: Depending on conditions, detection of a vehicle and/or object may occur

Lol it does but its to damn big. They need to condense it so I can carry it on my phone in PDF form. Like most other car company's are doing.

The manual is on the Lexus Drivers website. Unfortunately, for some reason, every single section has its own PDF which makes it difficult to use. I haven't touched the paper manual at all due to its gargantuan size.

Seems my wife BSM stays on when going less than 25 but it only happens when driving in our subdivision. It occurred a couple times so waiting for the 5000 miles service. Good thing it does not beep cause that would be annoying.
