Default 2 Coats of 22PLE

made the switch... as soon as i saw the car, i saw the difference btwn HB and 22PLE. long story short, my brother violated my paint (i wanted to shoot him after i saw what he did... but he has kids) and i had Phil @ DD correct it and apply 22PLE. in 5 days the glass coat will be completely hardened. so i can't touch the car whatsoever. in 5 days the gloss level will intensify. and it can't be layered. there's 2 layers on which is the max. no sun shots it's cloudy today.

Looking good buddy. I'm sure it'll turn out as stunning as the picture you sent me. How are you going to live without the car for FIVE days? That is 432,000 seconds.

PS: Sometimes I do wonder what you do (besides driving Ms. Daisy)... You got us hooked on one and now introducing another kind.

thanx BN... i have no clue as to what i'm going to do for 432,000 seconds. if you go to Detailers Domain facebook pg. you'll see more pics and my car is his new cover pg. i'm on medical leave right now, bad car accident back in 2003, my back hasn't been the same since, i was asleep in the passenger seat BTW so i didn't even see it coming. my brother is an idiot, i know what he did (went through a car grinder more than once) but he won't admit it. HB is a great product and i still like it. after i saw the damage i said to myself " is there a product that's even more durable than HB". so i started to research, and 22PLE stood out. so i gave it a try. i'll let you know how it holds up. sometimes you have to try different things until you find what's right. actually i can drive the car... i just can't wash it or wipe it down for 432,000 seconds. 22PLE just robbed me of my therapeutic quality time with my car.

Could you please do me a huge favor and purchase a set of 3 piece forged aluminum wheels with a brushed face and polished non clear coated lip so you can teach me how to properly care for them???

no but seriously, I need you to teach me.

Are you refering to those drive through car washes? How much damage did it do to the finish? My wife is notorious for using those and I know she has taken my car through them before.

that is absolutely stunning. how is the protection? is it permanent like opti-coat or do you have to re-do the process later?

Wow the damage was pretty bad. I'm glad they could fix it for you. One thing though Syd, whoever will buy your car is a lucky one. Enjoy your time off and wish you the best.

sure no problem, when would you like me to buy them. wheel care is easy... Rim Shield x4(coats) wash them once a week, no wheel brushes.

i need to learn how to do multiple quotes in one post... please help.

i picked her up today, so i can't comment on the protection as of yet. it's semi-permanent and lasts 2yrs., but i do have my wheels completely opti-coated. it's a silica glass coating that hardens in 5 days. and it's supposed to be very durable.

hey buddy, actually it's the VX1 Pro Signature Glass Coating, it's a little stronger and adds more gloss than the Signature Glass Coating, not to mention more expensive.
