I'm still getting 65MPG on my runs from Saturn to Jupiter. Thats keeping it out of hyperspace though.

I read about people in the 60's that travelled from saturn to jupiter without even leaving the couch. Do you live in the Haight Ashbury district of San Francisco per chance?

where did you post it? i went thru the pages and did not see anything unless i missed it.

either way, your MPG claims do not seem believable, but hey, there are always those outliers in forums, maybe you're just one of them.

you should go work for manufacturers and EPA ratings, the GS would look a lot more attractive with a 27/29 28 combined EPA rating.

Have the GS F-sport for about a month now.

When driving the way I normally do, I get about 20-21 mpg. I recently started using the eco meter on the display. if I put it in eco mode and keep the blue line in the eco range, then I can get 26-27 mpg on the highway.. but I have to accelerate VERY slowly to keep the blue bar where I want it. It's painful.

His "proof" is pictures of his MPG readout on his dash, which could be a fresh reset when coasting at highway speeds, any number of things. Don't even bother, he is obviously either lying, calculating it wrong, or his car's trip computer is calculating it wrong. We all know what he claims is not possible with this car.

Don't stress about it, you're never going to convince him.

Any reports from Colorado? I'm curious what difference there might be due to elevation.

22-23 seems to be the norm for my F-Sport. Exactly the same in fact as my Genesis sedan, but it can use regular.

This was sometime last year, highway trip back to the valley from the East Bay, on stock wheels, etc. I was looking through my iphone and came across the pictures, remembering my excitement when I had my wife take these the pics . This was the highest I ever got the gauge to read. My overall MPG before I added the mods was just over 21 mpg.

The computer is incredibly inaccurate in my experience. Mine has read has high as 24MPG and as low as14MPG after refueling. My average according to the computer is 17.1MPG with an average speed of 21MPH.

A better way to gauge gas mileage is to take the miles driven on that tank and divide it by how much gas you put in at the pump. Doing that I got 17.9 MPG on my last tank. I'm still 700+ miles so perhaps my mileage will improve as I put some more miles on her.

Ya I dont consider the gauge to be golden, I just thought these old pictures were relevant to the post. Whether accurate or not, the car claimed those #'s on the highway!!! I wont argue! I honestly don't really care about the gas mileage too much. I bought the car and I will have fun with it and fill it up as needed!! It is a nice experiment to calculate MPG on your own though. since I added my 20's the gauge is not so quick to go past 21 mpg. I will take my first long trip this Friday, so I will see what we get.
