Ur welcome. It appears when auto manufactures went from 3 speed auto to 4 speed years ago it was always about mpgs (for the most part) with the trend beginning and continues to this day.

Than the loaner RX350 I was given to drive. But the car is far from broken in yet. Only have about a 100 miles on it so far, but we also just literally got it.

Once it's broken in more, I'll push it harder to see how performance is comparatively.

If the changes in the '14 GS amount to moving from a 6AT to an 8AT I won't rush out and trade mine in.

You won't see more substantial HP next year.
Maybe in the mid cycle refresh year '16 or so.
The 8 speed trans maybe next year.That's not a big deal to me.40 or more HP,yes.

I think the 8 speed may cut 2/10's off 0/60 times which would be the same as a small HP increase all while improving mpg's so it's a very good thing
