Clear bra cost for the GS?

Good to know for the future ... how do you do it?
It took about 3-4 hours probably...
They might do a group discount, give them a call and see.
As an update, I had a bird bomb etch the surface of the Ventureshield material on my hood, tried Plexus and some light polish and it would not come out. I found a tip online that a hair dryer would make blemishes disappear like magic. I was skeptical but tried it, and it worked 100%! Pretty cool material...

All you do is just hold the hair dryer about 2-3 inches from the surface and heat it with steady overlapping strokes and the blemish just disappears. Saw that tip on a Ferrari forum

I was quoted $1k for Xpel Ultimate. That's for partial hood, partial fenders, full front bumper, mirrors and rocker panels. I have 1,600 miles, and still haven't done it yet. For that, I could have the hood and bumper repainted if necessary. Still undecided.

But the repaint you have to worry about color matching, and you're going to be constantly conflicted about "Do I do it or wait?". I'm 100% thrilled with the clear bra, I just wish I had done it at 0 miles.
The Xpel is probably a better product, but I would think about the Ventureshield, its cheaper (I had the same except the Rocker panels done for $700), and looks great on mine.

I've had a clear bra on my G35 for almost 10 years and it was worth every penny. Also something to consider, many owners after the partial hood install are not happy due to the visible line that becomes more noticeable with dirt buildup. In addition, nobody wants to be a slave to a toothbrush trying to keep that line clean. A full would be the way to go if concerned. I never did my hood, but drive locally 95% of the time. Other driving habits might make the full hood coverage more of a neccesity. The installer is just about the most important consideration when purchasing the protection. Find someone who has done them for many years and specializes in clear bras over window tinting. The guy I used did mostly exotics by appt (Lambos, Ferraris, etc). Price was not my biggest concern as I am a perfectionist. The GS is a pricey car and the clear bra is the way to go.

I spoke with Dave yesterday and he was really excited about working on another 2013 GS350. His actually words "I LOVE APPLYING THE SHIELD TO THAT CAR!" He told me that business has been booming for him. I made an appointment to have both vehicles protected the weekend of 26 Apr. I can't wait!!

I'm not sure whether he tints or not...
Mine had about 1500 miles on it.

Mine had about 1700 miles. Dave doesn't tint, however, I've gotten all my cars tinted by Matt (http://www.tnttint.com/index.html) in Alexandria. However, Dave mentioned that Matt is supposed to be moving next door next month.

I normally treat mine the same as I would the paint on the car. However my installer also gave me a bottle of something to apply to the installed clear bra once a year if I wanted to.

You can treat it as the paint, I seal and wax it with the same product I use on the paint.
