Did you not get your insurance involved? You do realize that you pay your insurance company/agent healthy premiums to deal with this sort of thing on your behalf to meet your satisfaction. Their insurance (the at-fault party's insurance) will likely just have it repaired for the very least amount possible because they have zero aspirations to satisfy you. If you are not satisfied with the repair work, who do you complain to and deal with about it - your insurance or their insurance? Unfortunately, if you did not get your insurance involved, for them to handle the repairs on your behalf, you will be dealing with their insurance who couldn't care less about you, your car or how the workmanship/repairs/parts, etc. satisfy you...

Oh I know, I have one of my best friends and his shop doing the work. I definitely trust them and they’re looking out for me as far as the cost. Already got the check and they’re doing it for a little under the amount. They’re also gonna warranty the work.

Sadly you are very right, only because you have seen the damage and will not look at it the same. Paint should be better than when I got my car. They should be able to match somewhat close.

Exactly! Well good thing is that my buddy who’s doing the work got my back so hopefully all will be well. He’s been a body man for 17 years now and does a lot of custom work and fabrication as well.
