Default i think i found my next car GS350!

i think i found my next car, but im on the fence right now with all the new redesigns coming out from various manufactures for the 2014 models.

ive been waiting for the next gen lexus IS since last fall im getting a little impatient... itll be about next year around this time before the new IS comes out/dealer is willing to haggle with prices
always liked the GS, i feel like its a leap above the IS. theres less people driving it compared to the IS/ES WHICH I LIKE

im lookin at the base GS in grey w/ black interior. sticker is almost 53k, dealer is willing to let it go for 50k drive out
price is about 5k more vs the IS350 so its not too bad

life is too short to wait around

you won't be disappointed with the new GS especially the new one it is a fun car to drive and comfortable as well.

Frankly speaking i manage to get almost 10% off of MSRP. you may want to nego. more on it.

Good Luck!!!!

The IS will be larger inside than the current one but clearly not as large as the GS. Also I've always said the build quality between the mid size class and entry level class is obvious, the GS will be better built. The IS will be even more agile (I know right!) in F-sport and even base. Styling will be sharper but the front end will have of course the familiar spindle. The IS will offer a drop down rear seat, the GS does not have that.

if they want to sell a car you can get them lower just a matter of how much time you want to spend but as soon as you say your walking away with it they have already invested time into the deal so they will make something happen. Im hoping to get into a Fsport within the next month for my wife.

Your best bet is to try to get as close to the last day in December as possible and do your thing. The aggressive dealers will be the most flexible at that time to close out the year.

Just read the 4GS Reviews thread and you won't have to think twice.

When you say $50k drive out, does that include taxes and tags? I never like to negotiate based on that.

They have a $1,500 Lexus loyalty rebate right now, they also have $500 December to Remember coupons that they can use, which they pulled out when I got really tough, each dealer only has so many. So, right there is $2k they can take off the price and not a dime of it comes out of their pockets.

$50k depending on what your taxes and tags are out the door isn't terrible...

Fwiw. I finally got to sit in a silver/black GS350 yesterday.
That is my preferred color combo. I just can't say enough
about the black interior on this car. I see it as very unique
with the underlying design. Rich looking and just pulls you
in to have a seat. Thx.
