GS Cabernet interior???
I'm in the process of purchasing a new gs 350 ???? Is it just me or does the red interior on some 350's tend to look lighter and some tend to look darker on different cars??? The sales person told me sometimes it has to do with if you look at the car in different lighting it tends to look darker or lighter what do you think??? Please help

the seat back and bottom are leather, i don't think the side bolsters are leather ... it's vinyl. the cab. on the door panel is vinyl the console piece is vinyl and so on and so forth, the vinyl looks darker than the leather pieces.

I would agree that the color does look differently in different lighting conditions. In the darkness of my garage the color looks darker and more red. When I put my car outside in the bright sun the color tends to look different - brighter and more of a football color than the red that it looks like in the dark.
I special ordered my car so I had my choice of colors. I knew I definitely wanted the Cabernet interior but considered several exterior colors (e.g white, liquid platinum) before finally deciding on the Nebula Grey.

It is definitely a reddish brown. It never looks as red as the pic in my avatar. It can look more dark red with no direct sunlight or more brown with direct sunlight. Then it looks like the Red Rocks of Arizona. When the light shines through the windows (which have a green tinting) it looks more brown. Whatever the color and whatever the light, it's beautiful!
