Hi All,

So I've got this annoying nav issue with my new GS. When driving on the highway, the screen seems to auto-split into 1/2 map, 1/2 upcomming exit POI icons.

Is there anyway to disable this...I frankly don't care which exits have POI's and which don't!

easy, hit the map mode button on the map screen and you will see the different views.

I've tried that, but this view only comes on temporarily while passing exits on the freeway...

that view appears when you're on a highway only. when you see it do what we said above

I thought the map mode button is always visible, and so, this could be enabled/disabled whenever.... hmm.. guess not. I'll check once I get back home later this week.

I suspect the "Freeway Exit List" option in the "Map Mode" screen is the one that causes the freeway exit listing to show up (see screen-shot below).

So you may want to try the following: click the "Map Mode" button on the left side of the nav screen and select "Map Only". Then drive on a freeway and check if the split screen with the freeway exit list stops appearing.
