Default Impressions during my first week of ownership...

2013 GS350 F-sport, Pearl White/Cabernet, with ML stereo.

1) Great ride! (I'm very hard to impress, long-term Porsche owner here)
2) It could use 50-100 more HP...lol
3) I will ALWAYS drive it in Sport+ ... too bad one can't permanently set it there as the default setting
4) Great driver's seat!!
5) Where do I put my sunglasses??
6) ML sound system is great for some things more than others--HD radio, for example-- but I haven't yet settled on my settings...(and I know NOTHING about pandora, IPOD, or any auxilliary methods of music, other than CD's and XM--which is lousy--, since I am basically uneducated in this area)
7) I'm still astonished at the build quality of this car.
8) The Cabernet interior is a work of art...it really is... (almost right up there with Aston or Maserati quality)
9) The multi-media display system is excellent, IMO. Very easy to use. I like the mouse. But can one easily answer a phone call, in one step? Additionally, I discovered the MOST important screen command of all--the SCREEN OFF button!!. Honestly, the minute the screen turned black for the first time, I had a big grin on my face, as I then could concentrate purely on the great driving experience!!!. It changes everything for the better! Try it, if you haven't already...

Don't go by me--I drive it in Sport+, often aggressively with paddles.
I think it's around 17 or 18 mpg

I still have my 911 (2009, pdk).
Now I have my second car, and won't put 25K miles a year on my Porsche any more. (it came down to the GS350 and the 535xi at the end of my search)

Thanks for sharing your observations. I keep my sunglasses in the driver's side door pocket. Not optimal, but it works. I agree that the Cabernet interior is a work of art. It has spoiled me, and I'm not sure I will ever except anything less in a future car.

even when I drive in Eco mode, i still average 18.5 MPG

I think maybe its my lead foot that won't allow me to drive economically even when on such setting.

I've noticed several Porsche owners on this board who've purchased the 4GS as a second/third car and one even replaced his Panamera with a GS.

And the feedback has been that the GS handling is up to par. Which is significant praise when it's coming from Porsche drivers.

Yes. Just push the "Off hook" button on the steering wheel (right side, looks like an old phone handset lifted off the receiver)
