Default squeeky brakes

Has anyone else have loud squeeky brakes noise when coming to a stop? It is very annoying. I took it into the dealer and they were able to identify a problem, but Lexus has no fix for it yet... have 3K on the car now...

This is sad, if true. The 3GS had notorious problems with brakes. You would think Lexus would have sorted all that out by now. I'm at 2,200 miles and no noises yet.

WTF do they mean they don't have a fix for it. that makes no sense to me unless i'm missing something. i'm at 2015, and no problems with brakes. (knock on wood)

I think what they did they went back to semi metalic pads, thats y the start to squeak and dusty also, the best pads for those are Akebono pads, ceramic, you can use the 2011 GS pads, no squeak and no dust for sure, and they stop on a dime.

I hit 3 already and its making noise for me also. Its most likely the pads and the break dust.

I used Akebono pads for my 745 (because the brake dust was horrible) and I loved them! I cannot find pads on their site for our cars though???

Im guessing since I have an Fsport the 2011 GS pads won't work?

yeah I was suspecting the pads as well. Sounds to me coming more from the rear brakes. I am planning once more aftermarket comes out to move to ceramic and slotted rotors. Had StopTech on my IS350 and loved them.

The F sport pads are totally different and Akebono don't make them yet, but they will.

2,200 miles and no squeak, but I guess I know what I have to look forward to. I had an Audi A6 4.2 that had squealey brakes and the technician told me it was because of the humidity (I lived in Florida at the time). I'm hoping that with the lower humidity in Dallas it won't become an issue. We'll see.

No way, I never heard of that, if u dont put a good set of pads on the car and replace the rotors or at least machine it, it will squeak, European casrs, if u want no noise or dust get Akebono.

checked every brake/pad company i could think of, and they don't have them for our cars as of yet. i was up to 4,500 miles with the SP F-Sport and there was no squeaky brakes. hmmmmm, interesting. time will tell.

Just over 5K miles here and no brake noise. Is this an F-Sport issue only?

Interesting why some do and some don't. Does the F-Sport have different braking system? I though they were the same?
