squeeky brakes

I'm not sure if any of you guys break-in your brakes (bedding) but this is what I did with mine. I'm not sure if it's absolutely required but I've done this on my Corvette, BMW, and an Accord and none of them squeal anymore.
Some brake manufactures simply suggest easy braking for the first few hundred miles (similar to the Lexus manual and its suggested break-in period). So I was hesitant to do this with my brand new Lexus. But then I thought I always do this whenever I install new pads and rotors so this should be no different.
We'll see how things turn out. Right now I barely have 500 miles and I'm planning to do a second set of bedding tonight.

LOL, I stomped on my brakes at 80 MPH on the way home from the dealership! I guess i'm not the best at breaking things in.

It's disturbing to hear that Lexus may not have solved the squeeky brake problem in the 4GS. Mine is brand new so we'll see.
This was the ONLY problem I ever had with my 2008 3GS. The dealer fixed it once at about 10K miles and it returned at about 20-25K, particularly in cold weather. Very annoying.

Brake noise
I own a 2013 gs350 with 9400 miles. I have visited the dealer on three different occasions and they have yet to find the problem. This vehicle will be a year old next, still waiting for a solution.

I believe there is a TSB for this, but it might only be for the F-Sport. Here's the linc to all the current TSBs: http://www.revbase.com/BBBMOTOR/. The brake one might not be on there yet as it's very new.
FYI...Lux model AWD GS with 8400 miles and not a sound out of my brakes.

I find it unacceptable that they squeak at all. I have had BMW, Infiniti, and Lexus. Both my old IS and now the GS have issues. Never an issue with my 5-series or G.
My car was not included in the service bulletin, but the next service I will be addressing the issue.
On a side note - they replaced my IS brake pads after 15,000 miles due to squeaking and excessive brake dust.

There is a TSB for brake squeak but it only applies to non-Fsport model.
