Any one installed the k 40 rl 360 radar detector in their 2013 Lexus gs car yet? I m thinking about doing my car. It's about and $2400.00 install. Any thoughts comments . If any one had a k40 did you like it ?

i dont know about k40 but i installed laser interceptor and it already saved me twice , and i have it installed on my q56 ,it is perfect and i really recommend it ,and look at it before buying anything ,

Will my dynamic radar cruise control set off your radar detector? So far, I haven't seen anyone slowing down, but from a far enough distance, a black GS with daytime lights could be mistaken for a car from an incredibly well-funded police department.

No it will not set off radar or laser. when intall u won't be able to tell the car has a radar and laser detector. only thing you will see is 2 lights in dash. I'm supprised no one else is looking at this for thier car! Some one chime in as to why?

I don't know about the others, but $2400 would be a reason. With LIDAR and pop Radar, by the time the detector goes off, the cop usually knows your speed already. So, I'm not sure whether it is worth the expense.

I don't know much about this radar - maybe it has some reason to justify the $2400 cost (when reasonably good ones from Beltronics, Valentine etc cost $300 or so).

k 40 is the best one once install nobody know you have a radar detector and laser . when cops use thier laser guns and it's pointed at you it will not register your speed. also, if you get a speeding ticket they will pay for it. i say 2400 but it varies with installers. i went to lexus today and they said 1800.00 install. lexus is a prefer installer in the nashville area.
