Default PS Module installed

It's working great. Instructions are spot on.

Only gotcha is the red wire tap hardware is crap. Strip down the coating first.

Took me about 2 hours. I was very careful with my interior. Did all the recommended masking tape, etc.

Bump...

Anybody else install this? I'm thinking of giving it a shot. On their website, they say there is no wire tapping or splicing, so what is the "red wire tap" that Alex was referring to?

the install on the gs is very straight forward, i have done quite a few and it doesn't take me more than 30 mins.

they came out with a completely new setup which makes installation a ton easier and also there is no more need to tap on any wires which was required in the initial batch.

Any special tools that I will need for interior trim? What all trim pieces need to be removed? I assume the entire stereo unit has to be removed to get to the back plug, correct?

yes the radio unit has to come out, which is held by some 10mm bolts. other than that, i am very honest, some masking tape (and that's just in case) and your hand, that's good enough to get you going.

seriously it's that easy. compared to what i have to do on older lexus (3gs, 2is) this is nothing. the new ls460 is also a pain to work on

Noticed you're in the OC...any place I can go to get this installed for me after I have the module in hand? I'd rather trust someone who has done it a few times.
