Can anyone tell me how to remove this sound ?
I have dismantled the sound creator and blank it off.. But somehow i can still hear some growling noise , even a low end , from the front.
How about changing the intake pipe to rubber hose with the resonator ? I prefer the typical quiet Lexus drives..

Respectfully, if you don't get a response on this it's because "the roar" was one of the selling features for most of us.

I thought the air tube was already rubber/vinyl? Pretty sure the metal tubes are what create the sound. Believe me, Lexus did okay re-creating the sound, but it is NO where near what a CAI can sound like with a metal tube. I had the K&N Typhoon CAI on my 3GS and it ROARED at 3K RPMS....this car, not so much. I'm not complaining, but I keep an eye on K&N's website in hopes they are releasing an updated version for the 4GS.

I left the CAI installed on my 3GS when I traded it in. I'm 100% certain they pulled that out and returned it to stock, since they were selling it CPO. Not sure it would have fit anyway.

Theoretically, installing the 2006-2011 OEM IS350 / GS350 intake pipe could work...
It will be quieter... Getting it to fit over the slightly larger air box outlet might be an issue..

Hmm...Joez , what you meant was IS 350 and GS 350 OEM pipe might not be able to fit in after all ?
I am thinking about replacing it with silicon hose and a customised resonator as i believed these 2 are the critical factors

Sewell has the CAI listed on their site. I assume the 2 pipes coming off the main tube are for the sound generator and something else?

Here is the intake parts list... they don't specify F-Sport and standard, do all GS350's have the same sound generator / intake tube?

Embarrassingly, I was parked in a grocery store parking lot waiting for my wife and was reaching across to get something from the glove compartment. Accidentally, my foot pressed down on the accelerator as I reached and WOW, what a roar with high rev! It scared me! I was wondering who was drag racing beside me only to realize it was my car. Very nice sound--just recommend not doing it in a grocery store parking lot...
