went to get my tints redone after the run in with the cops. i refuse to lose my tints, so i told them to just replace them with the same tints instead of going lighter. as i was waiting i walked around the lot and noticed a lot of BMW and AUDI and also a few MBs on the lexus lot. then i went next door to the pre - owned lot and saw the same. then i went back to the dealer and asked out of curiosity about all the german cars on the lot. and was told that 85% of the german car owners bought the new GS 350. most were the REG some LUXURY and not to many F Sports, most couldn't wait for the F Sport so chose the latter of the 3.

Same thing is happening at our lot, there have been so many people trading into a Lexus GS from one of the other luxury brands. Lexus has definitely succeeded

I'm one of those guys LOL! Lexus gave me an extra $1500 when I traded in my Audi TT.

This car re-defines it's entire class. There is so much going for Lexus & this platform. I'm excited to see what's in store for the GS series. Not to mention Lexus is offering an $1,500 rebate just for owning a competitor's vehicle?!?! "Yes my friend you are bold, but are you also daring?"

I've seen the same around the dealerships here too. You can drive by and see BMW's, Audi's, Benz's, etc all lined up in the used car areas for sale. Makes me laugh, the same people that used to hate on Lexus are now so quick to trade up with the release of this new GS

The new GS and the upcoming ES will be drawing many ex-German car drivers. The GS has already won a recent magazine comparison and I think its just the beginning. It even beat the venerable 535i. Thats pretty impressive .

I still think I'm the only one in my area with the new GS. My dealership has 16 on their lot, and I've noticed they haven't sold any. They still have my 2011 3GS as well....two months later....

Not complaining, as I like to be a little different. #ohwell

OP - why are you getting the windows re-done, if you're keeping them the same darkness? Did the officer make you peel the windows at the scene, or are you just getting a receipt to take to court to get it dismissed?

the idiots scratched up both window tints with the tint meter that they fit over the window. and also for the receipt.
