Note that Loyalty (Lexus owner) or Conquest (competitive brand owner) incentives are both $1,500. Either one REQUIRES you to finance with LFS at its ridiculous rates (well over 3% APR two months ago). So, go ahead and buy the car and finance with LFS, then immediately REFI with your local credit union for 1 to 2 points less. Since LFS has no prepayment penalty and there is no incentive clawback provision (you keep the $1,500 discount), everybody is happy.

Note also that if you are not a credit union member, you probably qualify for "membership" if you live in a certain county or know someone who is a member (rules are pretty loose these days). And to become a member, you'll have to open a share account (savings account) with $5 or so. That's it!
