Great update Caddy! I share almost your exact thoughts on both sides of the aisle. Regarding the auto windshield wipers, check out page 200 of the manual (http://drivers.lexus.com/t3Portal/do.../sec_04-03.pdf), section 4-3, in case you want to turn the automatic wipers into regular old intermittent wipers. I did that after the auto wipers kept wiping even though there was a long pause in the rain.

Yeah, I read that it made little sense. Maybe I should drink something strong first. The charts did nothing but add to my confusion. Is the green light supposed to come on when it is in auto wiper mode because I never see it no matter how many times I push the button or flick the lever?

Yeah, I started that thread to make searching easier. There didn't appear to be any other threads on the topic. Same with the engine noise.

Update after first road trip:
Just hit 635 miles, over 250 of that was driven today. Some additional random observations:
- Not quite as smooth on rough freeway pavement as the LS430 it replaced
- Seat comfort is superior
- Needs more storage spaces for phone, reading glasses, etc. I like to keep the cup holders open for access to seat cooling button and better appearance, but need that for storage.
- Well-placed armrests
- Much better in crosswinds than the LS430
- Always has a nice reserve of power
- Tuning one station up/down with the dial on the dash gets old. I guess I should just program the heck out of the presets.
- Nav worked as expected. Was talking to my GF on bluetooth when the nav announced an upcoming turn. She teased me about who I had in the car with me.
