Default Complimentary scheduled service

When I was talking to a salesman at the local Lexus dealership, he indicated that there was a 1000 mile and a 5000 mile service that was complimentary. (the 1k "service" was just to see if everything was going ok - no actual work done on the car, while the 5k service was primarily inspection of the car with tire rotation - no oil change). They didn't say anything about a complimentary 10k mile service that included oil change.

Looking thru' the manual for the GS 350, it looks like the 5k and 10k service is supposed to be complimentary at the Lexus dealership.

I'm still waiting on my car to be delivered, but for the folks who have already purchased your GS, did the salesperson say anything about 10k mile service being complimentary? Or only 1k/5k?

Thanks!

Thanks! Just to confirm - your dealership has confirmed that they will perform the (1k), 5k and 10k mile servicing at no charge?

Depending on what dealership you go to... (Here in CA I'm dealing with KEYES LEXUS) Your salesman can get you complimentary service. (Thank you Sam Santoso) To win my business my salesman threw in factory service free of charge for up to 20,000 miles. See for yourself. I have a 2013 gs350 F-sport on order. Due in next week. I'm really excited.

True - but I guess I'm trying to figure out if the 10k service is expected to be free for everyone (regardless of whether the salesman offers it for free or not) - since Lexus seems to indicate that it is complimentary.

It's FREE for everyone, just like the manual says.

While shopping around I was @ Lexus of Cerritos. They said they had to honor Lexus' free factory maintenance for your 5k & 10k service.

It is free for those two @ any Lexus dealer you go to. It is dealership specific to extend complimentary service past the 10k marker.
