Does anyone know when in early February that the GS F Sport is coming? Also I heard dealers are taking deposits. How much under the MSRP that a GS F Sport will cost with RWD and navigation?

I was told by the local Lexus dealer that on Guam we have a shipment of 2013 GS and GS F-Sports coming in mid January. Will know the prices then. I guess early February for US Mainland shipments.

Interesting that all the GS are coming in with the larger LCD screens even though the GPS feature is useless here.

February is the target month for delivery. Its probable that GS shipments are en-route to the US as we speak. It may take longer to get to the East Coast as all the shipments that go to Jacksonville, FL or Newark, NJ have to go through the Panama Canal.

Dealers have been taking deposits, you should check with your local dealer soon to be one of the first. As for getting a car under MSRP, especially a new model that just came out...good luck, its gonna be a while before that happens.

Do you know what Lexus dealers looks for in a payment to income ratio? What percentage does your monthly payment have to be in regards to your income? Does anyone put any downpayment such as 10 or 20 percent?

My guess is that for the first few months, you may get 1-2K off MSRP, if that. By summer time, you will get it 10-13% below MSRP - for instance here in CA with tax and license, you can aim to get the car out the door for MSRP price

The GM at my dealer (in N CA) told me back in December that the GS will not arrive until April! He said nothing about taking a deposit. Maybe he was trying to sell current inventory.

It will be a smart move to buy this car in the summer. It will hold its value very well I think.

For the SouthEast, they arrive in the port in Jacksonville on January 22nd. They are to be by dealers by February 5th. Dealers will then have launch parties/invitation parties with the new GS that week. Hennessy Lexus of Gwinnett will have their launch party February 7th, I'll be there of course and some of our local SELOC members will be there.

February is the month for the GS. Big volume dealers will get many to choose from. I have had 2 people so far inquire about the F-sport edition. I can't wait to drive one because Lexus focused on the fun factor so much. I'm sure a V8 will also be coming out down the road.

Anyone have any idea on the release date for other Asian countries? (especially the Philippines)

P.S.
I'm guessing that Japan will be on time with the February 2012 release as well (since Japan is a core market for Lexus)

Default GS has arrived

Local sales rep just called me this afternoon that Guam just received it first shipment of 5 fully loaded luxury model Gs350 and 2 F-Sport. Didn't get the chance to drop by to check out the cars. Was told on the phone the luxury option model is selling at $58K tax included. All the models comes with the larger 12.4" screen with GPS even though GPS feature doesn't work on Guam. Will try to drop by tomorrow to check out the cars.
