Is This Seat Wear Normal? (2014 Luxury)
Car has luxury package with 18 way power seats and the black semi-analine leather with only 65,000Kms on it = 39,000 miles. I bought the car LCPO used a few months ago and didn't notice the wear at the time. I just noticed on the weekend when treating the seats with conditioner.
My last Lexus, a 2002 IS300 Sportcross with 315,000Kms - 190,000 miles didnt' have a hint of wear like this on the seats, only a few creases.
Anyone else have this kind of wear?
Think it would be covered under warranty?

My 2013 has 73k on it, seats look *much* better.
They were dry when I bought it, though, and in need of Lexol love.

First time i'm seeing someone report that problem with the Lux semi-aniline seats. My '13 GS had 43k miles when I bought it and the driver seat showed similar signs of peeling and cracking (flaxen color). They refinished it since it was still under full factory warranty but not sure if it would be covered under the L/Certified warranty. Def. call them to see what they say...Here's a thread from a while back with the same issue faced by various members: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/aut...t-peeling.html

I hope Lexus put quality leather that will last in a package you pay a lot extra for, if it is not lasting and is wearing like that they cheaped out and Lexus needs to pay to fix it. As long as you don't take it to the dealer it should be relatively inexpensive to fix, Leatherique makes color matching kits to fix the leather.
