Default Poll: What Engine Type Would Best Suit a GSF?

What would you want to see? If I was giving a wish list, I'd like to see a V10. I'd take a V8 twin-turbo without complaining, though.

Whatever they use, if they create the GS-F, it better have more HP than the M5 or E63 to get respect. Unfortunately, b/c it's Lexus they will get bashed if they put out something equal in HP. I'll be right here bashing them too on Club Lexus 4GS forum if they come weak, but out in the real world I'll defend Lexus.

I voted the V8-TT, but I really would like to see the V10 in it. The V10 would be pretty badass from a stock standpoint, and the sound is just absolutely magnificent. However, I don't think they will implement the V10 due to cost constraints unless this car is going to be $150k+.

I voted the V8-TT because it would be much easier to get power out of it with some mods

you may have a chip on your shoulder just as they do....

and you may group me into the anti-hybrid crowd as I do not want one as a performance car, but as I have said on here before I have seen the raw power of DC elec and know they can make more power and tq with elec then we can ever dream in a gas engine, and knowing that, I still do not want one

its not a matter of being proven wrong or proven what can be done with hybrids, some people just like gas \ diesel engines....

A factory retuned IS-F motor... (5.0 V8) Can easily make approx 500 HP....

A supercharged version can make approx 620 Hp.. "AS SEEN on the 2013 /2014 Lotus Esprit"

V8TT like BMW and Benz! Very unlikely though.

Personally, I'm not voting because I have no specific method of preference for this one.

At the end of the day, all that matters here for a GS-F is 500 hp or more.

I probably should have added N/A V-8 as a choice for the poll.

Too many wishful thinking around here. Toyota and Lexus do not currently have TT V8 so it is next to impossible to see it in the GS-F. V10 in the LF-A costs tooooooo much so again you will not see it. It will be lucky if we see the re-tuned version of the 5.0 V8 in the IS-F.
