Default Squeak when turning slightly

Hi Everyone,

I have a 2015 GS 350 F-SPORT roughly 162,000 kms (100,xxx miles) and recently I've been getting a slight squeak/squeal when turning the wheel slightly. I have only heard this sound when going very slow in the parking lot to park the car but never when driving normally on the main road and turning. The brakes are fairly new and even when the brakes are not applied the squeak/squeal still appears (but only when turning very slowly in a parking lot). I also highly doubt its related to the tires but I could be wrong (tires have 5mm left).

Any ideas what the issue is or has anyone here experienced something similar?

I had a similar problem on my 207 AWD. Cannot say for sure this is what's happening in your case, but I've had cases of a small stone stuck between the dust shield and the rotor on my front brakes. It causes a squeak when driving slowly and turning the wheel. Can't hurt to have it checked out...

I've had this happen twice. Once it was the dust plate (see image below) and the other time it was something behind the steering wheel's clock spring. At first they were not able to duplicate it, but I emailed them a video of it later and they found the issue. My recommendation is to record a video of the noise occurring and show it to the advisor when you drop the car off.

My squeaky noise is coming from the clockspring in the steering column. It sounds like mice are chatting in there....
