As I recall they did offer orange painted calipers on RWD F Sports for the past few years.

Can't you just clean 'em up and paint them with a small
?

Lots of us are old now. But if you started a thread about it....... you aint too old to paint them. You know you want them painted.

The fronts are simple enough to paint by just masking them off. The only timely part was waiting for the paint to cure.

I prefer them unpainted nowadays after having many sets of painted ones in the past. Everyone paints their calipers nowadays so its not unique and its one more thing to clean when cleaning the wheels. Also I don't have to worry about spilling brake fluid on a painted surface if doing a fluid exchange.

$50 bucks at R&R Tires (locations across the US) was the best money I've spent.

If Lexus offered calipers in the most popular colors (red, yellow, blue, orange, black, white) - i'm sure hardly anyone would have opted for them. I had my calipers painted at a local shop 5 years ago and they are holding up quite well.

If done properly, I think painting calipers is a great aftermarket mod and is a great way to make your GS stand out from the rest.

It was a $300 option to have Orange Calipers on the 2018 GS F below. Anyone know how much Lexus was charging as optional equipment for Orange Brake Calipers on a RWD GS350 F-Sport? I imagine it was the same...

My 18 RWD says black painted front calipers no charge on the window sticker.

They were also $300 on the GS350 F Sport.

Emphasis on doing and maintaining it properly. I just painted mine 2 weeks ago and I plan to repaint it if needed and wash it when the time comes.

Painting the calipers is a simple afternoon job and will cost you about $20, a few more if you put some lexus or f-sport stickers on them.

Well worth it imo!

Look at the video in post #3. G2 makes a great product that's very easy to work with. A few years ago I painted my calipers with G2 and they turned out nice. Well worth the time and effort to paint them.
