I realise this is a completely pointless post but I finally found some supporting documentation regarding cooling only front seats.

Yeah better off putting that money into an aftermarket Apple CarPlay unit. Dealer map up dates a not only a rip-off but far less advance than google maps or Waze.

Interesting that BMW is now charging $18 per month subscription for heated seats is select regions

Also available for an extra monthly charge is automatic high beams (roughly $12) and steering wheel heating (roughly $12).

Damn u have to pay subscription just to use the features on ur car? BMW can go out of business for all I care. They were the one that started with the outrageous options on their cars right? And others followed.

Well, this also means that used cars value (with none of those nonsense) will go even higher, so our GS values will skyrocket too.

I'm not sure what's going on with me after reading your post. I have involuntary muscle movement pulling the sides of my mouth up and wide...

The important part missing here is that this monthly feature is offsetting the cost of buying the heated seat option outright for those that want a BMW but can't afford to finance all the luxury items. If you want to buy the feature without the monthly or annual fee, the cost is $406 which is quite reasonable, even when compared to the Lexus offering. However, I am not a fan of subscriptions (I'm still salty I have to pay for Enform to get remote start with my keyfob...).
