Hyperdip Lexus Wheels ?
So don't yell at me guys, but Peasodos peaked my interest on dipping my wheels a somewhat different color, but really, I want to cover up some road rash and imperfections in the wheels. FYI, I have the 2013 18 inch wheels that is plated and there is not matching Lexus color. At least for DIY's. So here is the product I have researched. The color is Anthracite Grey Hyperdip, and it seems pretty easy. I also want to paint my calipers that cool Lexus GSF orange color. Yup, I am bored and want to see what I can do to the car. Anyone use this Hyperdip product before? And wouldn't I want to paint the inside of the wheel as well? It seems the videos I have watched leaves the wheels on the car to spray paint it. Thanks.
Any dipping of wheels usually looks terrible over time and will definitely be ruined next time you get tires. If really want a new color that will look good and last - powdercoat or paint.
If you just need a touch up - your local dealer will have wheel/paint people that they will use to refinish wheels. Call them to see what they can do... getting a loaner is always nice as well so you aren't without a car for a day or two.
