Anyone know of our car has cool seat filter or not? I had cars in the past had filter equipped.

 

no filter. It’s just a fan that sucks air from under the seat and blows it through the seat. Not sure why it would need a filter, does the job perfectly fine.

 

Thanks for the reply, I used to have cars that has seat filter system. that is why I am wondering if it also has the same setup. I think some other LEXUS model use seat filter as well such as LS460. I am not sure if that is the reason why GS cooling seat is not cold at all due to it just power by a fan

 

GS seat is ventilated only, literally a fan that re-circulates cabin air. The GS does not have cooled seats (i.e., no compressor or direct cooling ducts). It's actually not a difficult mod to do, I had thought about doing it before.

Not the back tho, its getting Hot in CA and unless you drive naked

 

Hmmm. I live in Florida so you would think I know this, but the cooled seats are only the seat bottom? Is that the same for the heated part as well?

 

The back is ventilated as well.

 

Thanks JDR76. I have not turned them on in probably over six months, so I forget. The air passing around is a cooling effect though since it is blowing cabin air conditioned air. Like a ceiling fan in the house. I have no complaints on the Lexus ventilated seats. Less to worry about breaking and Peasodos can swap them out with little trouble.
