Default How do you change positioning/orientation on NAV?

I don't really use my NAV all that much or pay much attention to it but I have noticed the positioning is often incorrect and it makes navigation confusing like when I make a right it shows me making a left on the screen. Last night it was very confusing looking at the map and trying to get to a place in the city because everything was opposite. I looked in the menu and did not see anything about orientation or direction on the nav/map.

You click on the compass in the top left corner to cycle through the available views.

I much prefer to have my NAV showing that I am moving 'up' the screen...even though I may be traveling east, south or west instead of north. Other people may prefer to show that they are moving in the direction that they are actually traveling, e.g. moving left to right would be traveling eastward, etc.
