I just traded my 2010 RX for a 2014 GS RWD. I’m not sure this was a good decision.
Overall the car is nice and I love the rims.
My complaints are with the windshield wipers.
they freeze while doing their thing and are usually in my line of sight. I don’t know why they do this. It’s annoying.
Also cant get my car to connect to Lexus Enform remote. It says my VIN is not supported. My 10 wasn’t either but that was due to age and I get that. I have the little red SOS button so I don’t know why I can’t connect. Yes I am aware I have to pay for that.
I miss my RX.

Congrats on your GS! Be sure to post some pics. which is mandatory around here! Not sure on your Enform but. I'm sure someone will chime in about it. I have a 14 RX and an 18 GS and prefer to drive my 18 any day over the 14. Two totally different animals.

What a December to Remember, good looking GS! Did you ask the dealer for any assistance on your issues?

Thank you! I have not had a chance as I’ve been working all week and they were closed yesterday (totally fine). I may call them tomorrow or show up for a free car wash and then bring up my issues.

Enform Remote wasn't available until 2015 so your 14 is not compatible.

I heard they updated it to cover older models...I will have to ask the dealer’s technology guru.

Yep, the Enform Remote is on the 2015+. Right when Lexus refreshed the GS lineup. I believe Enform 2.0 includes all the remote goodies.

Unfortunately that is not the case.

Been a while since I worked for Lexus but every dealer as far as I know has a tech person on site for after delivery to go over things such as Enform. Id find out who that person is at the dealer, make an appt., and get some answers for you. Oh, and congrats!!!

2015 GS is an oddball, it has the old styling but has the newer tech like the refreshed 2016+.

It doesn't have the full screen maps or graphics like 2016.

Correct. It's a bit of an oddball year. It had an updated nav system, with HD Radio traffic/weather, and was the first year to have Enform remote, but then the 16 got an even newer nav (full screen). 16 also saw the availability of the safety suite. You could get radar cruise on a 15, but not all-speed, for example.

I have long felt that the 15 was sort of the sweet spot of the 4GS.

Yep, own a '15 love it. I do like the full screen maps in the '16, but I have to admit that being the split screen actually works very, very well. I can control the car without losing the map.
