Default Gun Owners Mounting Options

So in my Tacoma i used that little area between the seat or the "lost forever zone" to mount my pistol (legal gun owner with a chl) but in the GS that area has been filled by lexus so i was wondering how everyone else who carry mounts their pistol. preferably without drilling into the car.

Mods if this is not an allowed topic feel free to take down and i will understand.

I'm not a gun owner but i bet you could put a holster in the leather lined area in the leg tunnel. The leather knee rub piece on both side of the center console pops right off, and the gear select has two screws where a holster could be mounted. Might be a little low though; i have no clue about how close or far you would want a weapon.

I'll have to look into that. I didn't know about the knee pieces lol.

To remove the knee rub, pull up, away and back from the radio, you are pulling towards the rear ceiling. You might have to remove the rubber radio surround, which come out by pulling directly to the back of the car. Be careful, your start button will still be connected to the rubber radio surround, you have to disconnect it to remove the surround.

In my 2015 crafted GS 350 F-Sport the back seat has a fold down center arm rest & pass thru to the trunk. The arm rest has a small compartment that my new Glock fits in perfectly

This. Is where I keep mine. But often think it would not be the fastest place to get to it if need be. So sometimes I keep it in the front armrest console.

I typically carry it on me while I am driving unless I am going long distances then in the center console it goes if the car is equipped with one.

I worked on a 2nd gen GS and someone converted the in dash cd changer to a "storage" with a remote actuator. It was very secured and insulated.

A friend has a magnetic holder/half holster under the dash. Very easy access and not visible looking in.

Just put it in the door pocket. I have one in the arm rest and one that stays in my pocket.
