Default tires

I've spent the last hour reading a bunch of tire threads on here with various options. I was settled on the CINTURATO P7 ALL SEASON PLUS but then I saw these Yokohama ADVAN SPORT A/S: https://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires...RatingsReviews

Any reason not to go with these? $667 for the set..

I drive my GS pretty hard and am looking for good grip, minimal noise and a reasonable price. Any suggestions for all seasons? Thanks.

Michellin A/S 3+. I love them. Reasonably priced, great grip and super quiet.

I was one of the people that had the P7's... I had some issue with the last batch even though I had used several sets on various vehicles with success. I decided to go with Continental Extreme contact which I have also had good experience with in the past. After 6000 miles, I am still happy, but we all know that tires get louder as they age. Here is a link - to review.

I currently have these tires on my ‘15 AWD F Sport and couldn’t be happier with them. They provide excellent road feedback/feel around turns and I’m also surprised how well they performed this past Winter.

Bought my 2015 AWD GS this past November and it came with brand new Yokohama ADVAN sport A/S. Agree with ch0n, they performed well over the winter months. Curious to see how they fare in the hotter summer weather, but very pleased so far. Also glad that if I would ever need to replace one, will not need to break the bank.

Thanks guys. I think I'll go with the Advan Sport tires. Should I size up and go with 245/40/19 or OEM 235/40/19? And is the correct load range XL?

Since you previously stated you like to drive hard/spirited, I would probably go with the wider 245..

That's what will be going on my GS-350 when the time comes. I have them on a 5-Series BMW and love them. Quiet, good grip, and good tread life. The reviews are excellent.
