Just joined the club. Have a simple question...

I've been spying on Lexuseses (Lexii?) for a long time now, but finally joined the owners' club with a 2014 black on black AWD F Sport. Loving it so far, but I have a question:

Where in the hell do you guys keep your phone??

It doesn't fit the cup holder very well. I could put in the console, but that's kind of awkward to get to if needed. I could lay it flat in the nav screen area, but that has the potential to slide around. For now I've either kept it in my pocket or in the door. I'm not the type of person to be on my phone all the time, especially while driving, but I would like to be able to SEE the screen light up if a call/text/notification comes in. Anyway, just was wondering where you guys keep your phone.

My phone lives on it's mount(search) but my wallet lives in the door pocket

Mine lays flat perfectly in the cupholder. Sometimes I put it on the passenger seat.

There's an extensive cellphone mount thread Cellphone Mount Thread, or just look a little lower down and you'll find a shorter newer thread. Here's a few pics of mine:

Before I bought a cd slit phone mount, I placed a small strip of anti-slip material in front of the screen and just placed my phone there.

I used a rokform mount and that attached to the vent and the magnet was very strong. I didn't like the idea of attaching something or sticking something,so I went this route. Ive hit bumps and its held really well.

I either leave it in my pocket or I stand it up in the door handle.

Normally its in my pocket. When I use Google maps I put it on the passenger seat.

I lay mines sideways between the gear shifter and wrist rest.

I bought a non-skid mat that I cut to size for the flat bit in front of infotainment screen and I lay my phone there. Works perfectly for me.

I use a leather iPhone case (Apple OEM) and it never slides around up there, either.

I keep my iPhone in the armrest tray connected a charger cable.

Same. If I get any calls or texts, they show up on the car's screen.

Assuming the problem is your phone being too big for one cupholder, did you know the cup holder separator can be taken out?

I did not know this. I'm going to have to look into possibly removing that to see if that helps.
