While working on replacing the lock on my GS, I was confused as to why the child lock would get stuck in the locked position at times. So I took some time and played around with it. I I made a quick video explaining how it works. Hope this helps anyone that has their child lock stuck in the locked position. Spoiler alert, the cable may have popped out on the actuator, or maybe where it hooks to the door handle.
