Although the condensation concern is a valid one where I live....

I was able to cancel my order before it shipped for a full refund. Honestly I think condensation is a non-issue, Lexus initially designed a fuel pump cover that was hollow on the inside, then added the foam. If it, fits, it fits and would work as intended for the previous/current LS IS and GS fuel pumps.

I looked it up and Honda/Acura has covers to muffle the high pressure fuel pump in some of their current generation cars.

The part numbers say it will only fit the v8's, but many 3gs owners have installed this on their v6 GS engine fuel pumps without issue.

For less than $30 a 30-50% reduction in direct injection noise sounds like an easy worth while mod to me. I plan on checking to see if my engine fuel pump looks like the 3GS then buying the parts and seeing if it will fit the 4GS.
@peasodos thank you for posting this information. I see your photo showing the soundproofing cover on one fuel pump but I can't figure out where the second fuel pump is so I can cover it too. I have read there are two inside the GS-350 engine compartment. As a car guy that was surprising to have read there are two but that's what I read elsewhere about this noise problem. I have two sets of the soundproofing cover ready to install Friday or Saturday onto my wife's GS-350, thanks!

I think there is only one high pressure fuel pump. The other fuel pump is in the gas tank to deliver to the engine bay.

Thank you. I was aware of the main pump that sits inside the fuel tank, someone mentioned there were two high pressure fuel pumps and we needed two pairs of the sound deadening enclosures. Perhaps that was for one of the V8 engines. Thanks for the response.

Edit: It's installed, I'm really thankful for your photos @peasodos as I had a little trouble figuring out the cover's orientation. For anyone wanting to do this installation, I have an extra set of the covers available I can ship directly to you. Still sealed in their original Lexus bags, never touched by my hands. $20. Send me an email to *********************** Sold!

How's the noise reduction?

What is your model year? I wonder if later model years already come with the sound deadening enclosures. Mine is 2015.

2013 GS-350. There was a subtle improvement in the clatter I compared to the sound of a diesel engine. My wife couldn't tell the difference but I could and I'm half-deaf.

Just installed the pump cover. The ticking noise is reduced by an insignificant amount, but still appreciable. The install is not that easy though, very tight space to put these two pieces in place.
This is the kind of mod I am really into. No downside except a small cost, only (although modest) upside.

Enclose and insulate the high pressure fuel pump to reduce the ticking noise. The covers were originally designed for the LS, but also fit last/current GS.

Probably, just see if your high pressure fuel pump looks the same as the one in my first post.
