Beat sonic smart phone mirroring kit
has anyone tried the mirroring kit from beat sonic? How hard is it to install?

I have it. It took me approximately 40 mins to do the whole install.

Does the mirroring kit also include the DVD/Navigation override module? Seems like it does...

Yes, it includes the DVD and Navigation bypass. It's only good for watching videos, maybe looking at Google maps. Quality is ok, but not that great.

I'm more curious about the video quality. I had in mind streaming NFL games from my Directv app this year.

bump... really interested in this. I have a 2014 GS 350 and really want to mirror my phone to the screen. This would be awesome if it really works well.

Color me interested, is there a disqualifier based on the year you have? Basically will it work with a 2013 w/ Navi?

I wanted to get this professionally installed, so I called my local shop. They adamantly stated they would not install it. I did not get into the reasons but that worries me.

they wont install it because it bypasses a factory safety feature, think liability..

makes sense to me. I did get a call back from. Them. They say they have authorized dealers listed on their website. I'm gonna look into this further.
